Bought this for my elderly mom so she could keep track of her cell phone. She keeps the phone in a case that has a strap to wear around her neck when she goes out. The notch in the bottom of this holder is shaped perfectly to allow the drop of the strap to fit there (and the cord hangs to the side of the table where the holder sits--she doesn't have to take the phone out of the case. Very nice looking--definitely complements her decor--and definitely functional. Happy with the purchase.
