This battery pack is one of the better ones I have found. They are super easy to charge, and super easy to pop in the controller.My granddaughter uses for gaming and it does a great jobGood set for the money. Too early to comment on life. I hope the instructions are more clear for 8-10 yr old kids. Although, it helps to have communication with them when they bring the batteries for me to swap ?Worked as advertisedBatteries are great and have a good battery life..Batteries do not hold a charge at all! 20 min at the most.The product is a useful addition to an Xbox system providing consistent recharged batteries and extended gameplay with no worries about having to swap out AA's. My daughter uses this charger and associated batteries full-time now on her Xbox system and has been very happy with the convenience of not having to have a supply of AAs handy.I like that this xbox1 charger comes with 4 replacement batteries and long battery life. I also like that this is affordable and makes a great gift idea. It is convenient when a battery dies you can have the other for replacement. Trying to get part of the residue off is leaving marks on the plastic, it now looks second hand and no way is my son having this next to his smart looking console.If I had of purchased this myself it would be going straight back for a refund.Full marks to whoever decided to place this sticker on the front?The actual product itself is rather good if it was going to be used, which is won't be.The charging base has 4 non slip feet which also acts to prevent scratching of any surface. The included USB-C cable plugs in on the side and the other end into a 5V/2A power source, you could even plug it into the Xbox to charge but that would be a slow charge rate.The green lighting effect on the top and bottom of the stand looks great, when depleted batteries are inserted this light turns red and will move over to green when fully charged.The batteries fitted perfectly into the Xbox One and Xbox X controller with no issues. Usage wise, the manufacturer states 15 hours, that's an exaggeration as I only got 6 hours use in total which to me is normal and compares in performance to my other spare batteries I use.On a whole, a potentially good product ruined, I suggest you look elsewhere on Amazon as there's similar products that will come supplied in pristine condition.This has now been placed back in the box after testing and will stay there for good.NOT RECOMMENDEDAmazonCustomer B09QMBT437 140422I have owned an xbox one since they were released, and the one thing that has always bothered me is the fact that you have to use aa batteries. I almost never have any on hand when my controller dies, and it can become quite bothersome. When I saw this battery charger with four rechargeable batteries, I had to give it a try, hoping that i'd never have to use aa batteries again.So, firstly the good points:This charger is compact and easy to use and although the dock itself looks and feels quite cheaply made, the batteries themselves are weighty and fit the controller perfectly. They slot into both the dock and controller easily, and my controller light came on instantly showing that the batteries work just fine. The batteries slide in and out of the dock and metal pins connect them to the base to begin the charing process. This gadget will save on the batteries and will be more convenient in the future. It's a great little device, but I do have some minor issues.Now, for the bad points:When I first opened the box and took out the dock, the first thing I noticed was a big ugly sticker plastered all over the top of the dock. It was also one of those difficult to peel ones which leave sticky residue underneath. This made the dock look ghastly and cheap, and had I purchased it I would have been unimpressed. My second issue is the fact that I don't yet know if the dock is actually charging. I plugged it in and turned it on and all the lights were green. Now I assume this is because the batteries are already charged, but the instructions do say that even if they are charged a red light should briefly flash before once again turning green. However, as of yet I have seen no hint of a red light. The lights even stay on when the batteries are removed. So, I won't be able to fully test the charging function until the batteries have run down their charge.So, my opinion of this device is a little 50/50. It doesn't look great with the sticker on it, and the dock is a little hit and miss, but should it turn out to charge the batteries as it should then it will be invaluable and allow me to game for long periods without having to worry about buying aa's.
