While the build quality is nothing special, it simply gets the job done. I was able to charge both 3rd party and official Canon LP-E6 batteries. It does charge slower than the Canon charger but is not a deal breaker.My only real complaint would be that the battery shelf is a little to easy to remove. It could use a locking mechanism or at the very least require a little more effort to remove it from the base.Overall, this is a great bargain.
