I first purchased another brand wireless charge that my wife now uses for her S6 Edge+, but I then ordered this for my Note5 when I saw the price had dropped. While researching this particular wireless charger, I kept seeing people complain about it not charging fully, charger and/or phone getting really hot, and the LED light indicating charging status. I also had heard mention of the cooling fan noise.After using it for a couple of weeks, my experience has been good. There was only one time that I felt my phone warmer than usual, but that was comparable to talking on the phone for a few minutes or watching a video for a few minutes with the screen generating heat. Nothing worrisome. I have never had a problem with it charging my phone. I really like how fast it is. Most of the complaints include the message of "wireless charging paused". I see that message whenever I lift the phone off of the pod. I reason the message is just an indication that it has lost connection to the charger and it is no longer charging. As far as the fan noise, I don't hear it. Nothing much more to say about it. It has to be working though as I don't have a heat issue.Here are my problems with it... If you want to call them "problems". Inconveniences, maybe. The LED is bright. It'll light up a dark room (once your vision adjusts to darkness that is!). The LED is on the opposite side as where the cord plugs in. I have it on my bedside table so my natural placing of it pointed the light towards my bed. When I realized the issue, I came up with an ingenious solution! And it didn't even require tape to cover it or a marker to color over it!!! I simply turned it about 180 degrees! Simple!The other "inconvenience" is that you can't simply place the phone down and walk away. I have found that the connection is a little finicky. I do have to make sure the phone is centered side to side (of the phone) and maybe a little more to the top of the phone, but not much. Maybe a half inch from the very center of the phone in top to bottom measurement.The reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because this charger is more expensive than my other fast charging wireless charger and they both perform the same and the other charger isn't as finicky about phone placement.I would still recommend this product, but compare before you buy.
