Previous page Next page 1 Meet the Standard 2 Master Design 3 Find Your Style Previous page Next page Does this do quickcharge for my Galaxy S8? With a standard 4.8A interface, charging speed will be faster than the normal 1A and 2.1A. For all Android phone, our car charger doesn't support Qualcomm Quick Charge. What is the different of charging between 4.8A(2.4A+2.4A) and 3.4A(2.4A+1A)? 4.8A dual-port car charger means each port can reach 2.4A fast charging. However, when you use 3.4A dual-port car charger, it does not mean that one port is 1.0A and the other is 2.4A . This means that at least one port is a slow charging port. Is this easy to take out of the cigarette lighter socket? It fits firmly to the cigarette lighter, but every car´s socket are a little different. Overall it is really easy to pull it out of the socket. Will it heat up while charging? Works like a dream. Other charger I had started getting really hot anytime I tried to charge something. This one works great, and doesn’t threaten to burn my car down! Does this charger stay on even when the vehicle is turn off, thus not draining the vehicles battery? Hello, some cars may display lights when they are turned off, and some will not. If you don't use it, don't take it out and put it in the original place, there will be a little power loss, but in general, the power consumption is very small.
COMPACT SIZE, FLUSH FIT The tiny thumb-sized (1.7" (L) x 0.9" (W)) body fits most car cigarette lighters and barely protrudes past the edge of the outlet, providing a trim, less cluttered look. It's our smallest car charger yet lightweight and highly portable, so you can take it everywhere.
4.8A/24W EFFICIENT CHARGE AINOPE car charger can reach maximum output of 2.4A/12W per port, which the charging speed is 2X faster than 1A/5W. With 4.8A total power, this dual USB cigarette lighter adapter enables you to charge two devices simultaneously at full speed with 2.4A per USB port. Please note it does not support Qualcomm Quick Charge. The charging page WILL NOT show fast charge when charging.
ALL METAL, WON'T HEAT The full zinc alloy body is scratch-resistant, durable, and attractive. The high-quality material keeps your car charger adapter always looking new. This metal usb car charger will not overheat at high temperatures, which makes it safer than plastic ones.
CERTIFIED SAFETY There are multiple protections against over-current, overcharging, and overheating to ensure the safety of your devices.

Just to be sure you know, box clearly states "WARNING: Warning: It does not support Qualcomm Quick Charge. The charging page will nor [sic] show fast charge when charging"I didn't need that functionality, so no matter to me ... but maybe it matters to you. If you need a charge faster than this device provides ... and you need to charge so often ... maybe you ought ramp-down on your device usage ... or keep an external battery at-the-ready. I've got a small thin one, no larger than the phone, in the glove box ... and it can give me 2.5 full phone charges while connected to the phone, both in my pocket. This gizmo is solid construction. In my vehicle, yes, it is almost entirely flush with the cigarette lighter and snugs-up into it tight. I really like the soft blue glow of it. This blue ought be the default LED power color for all technology devices, it so easy on the eyes. And, in my vehicle, it does NOT glow blue when the power is off. And I see that as a GOOD thing.Any drain on an idle vehicle's battery is a bad drain, no matter how small. I know -- from experience -- that even a small LED pulling on the battery of a parked vehicle overnight can drain its battery to stone cold dead. Yet the maker reports that, in some cars, the LED in this device might stay lit and pull power. Accordingly, the maker should re-think construction to not allow it to do so.Notice that the USB slots are oriented opposite one another. A USB that goes straight-into the top socket will have to be turned 180 to go into the bottom socket. I've NEVER seen dual USB sockets oriented like this … and it may be bothersome to some users who are used to always finding any female USB socket oriented the same way. I suppose the maker was thinking that, oriented as they are, there will not be a top or bottom to this gizmo, that no matter which way you install it into the cigarette lighter socket, the two USB sockets will always orient the same way. That might be a bit of overthinking going on there. There is clear plastic shrink-wrap protecting the charger when you get it. That you have to remove to use it, to make metal-to-metal connection for it to get power. And I will tell you that shrink-wrap is on there tighter than a coat of paint. There is no perforation or tab to help pull it off. I had to find a good location to prick-it with a single-edge razor blade … to get a starting point … to put a small pin under it … to pull on it to get enough plastic to make a tab to pull the rest of it off. I appreciate the meticulous level of detail in the build of this product … everywhere except in this plastic shrink-wrap. The maker should re-think this a bit more in future production.
