I originally gotmy husband a standard case for his switch which he used since the day he got it but when I got him this it became non-existent literally. I haven't seen him use that case since then and haven't even seen him reach for it. He literally even takes this out with his despite the somewhat bulky look to it. He plays his games with this on and I find that he doesn't have his switch on the charger nearly as much as he used to before this. I don't really see him use the kickstand on it but it does not bother him at all when it comes to gameplay especially his online games where he becomes invisible to the world. It also cause no issues in the protective screen or controls. For him I think I just gave him more of an excuse to be invisible and for longer periods of time. This takes a C charging cord too in case that information was needed.Having a portable charger for your Switch Lite is almost essential. The battery life wasn't very good to begin with, and it diminishes the more you use and recharge it. At this point, I usually only get a few hours of play before I get a low battery warning. I have a smaller, clip-on powerbank which is only 5,000 mAH, but this LVFAN charger gives me a lot more juice. It can also be used to charge other devices.The device is easy to use. Just slide your Switch Lite in and it starts charging. Getting your Nintendo out is a little more difficult. You have to either push up hard on both directional pads, or try to grip the corners and slide it out that way. Not perfect, but not worth lowering my review for. The grip is comfortable but a little slick. The kickstand and game cartridge holder are nice features, but probably not something I'll use. This is going to double the weight of your Lite and make it so it doesn't fit in your typical carrying case. The described 10-hour boost to play time is believable. After fully charging the first time, I inserted my Switch Lite at about two thirds battery life. After an hour of playing, my Lite was fully charged and all four battery life indicators on the powerbank were still lit. After 3-4 hours of play, I was down to two lights lit. This will really be useful for long gaming sessions when I might not have the opportunity to charge my Lite with an AC adapter. DOES NOT come with the USB Type-C cord needed to charge this charger.I would recommend sliding your Switch Lite partway out when not in use. When your Lite is inserted, the battery indicators on the charger stay on, which will drain the battery a little quicker. I wish there was a power button, so this isn't always in charging mode, but I can live with it. I'm glad I got this.***UPDATE***This will charge my Switch Lite from almost completely dead to 100% full twice, with a little battery life left in the charger. That's if I don't keep them attached when I'm playing and I only slide the Lite in when it's ready to charge. So this should about triple the play time, if I start with a fully charged Switch Lite.Got this for my 6yr old and he says it’s perfect. The size/shape helps his grip a lot more than the thin case we had on it, it super durable, it extends the battery enough to last him the day without needing it on the charger and we let it rest on the charger over night. It’s a little difficult to remove the switch but I like that it keeps him from taking it in and out. This would make a great gift for any kids. I’m thinking of getting my daughter a switch her next birthday and if we do she’ll definitely be getting this along with it!This power bank case is terrific! It does add a significant amount of bulk/weight to the console. Without the battery, the Switch Lite is almost weightless. This case weighs a lot. It also adds those popular puffed out hand grips on the back of each side of the system.The battery capacity and longevity of this case is fantastic. I haven't done any specific time tests, but I think it at least triples the amount of unplugged gaming time. It can also continue to power the system while plugged into the wall.The charger case is charged by a "C-USB" plug, just like the Switch Lite itself. It also has a USB output which can be used to power other devices. But the proximity of the USB port to the audio jack makes it very convenient to power headphones, which are usually very inconvenient to power while using the portable console -- this is a feature I never knew I needed or wanted, but I'm glad to have it! It does run down the battery slightly faster, but my headphones specifically don't use a lot of power.Overall, I love this case.This battery pack is wonderful and necessary for the Nintendo Switch. The battery life is amazing. My only dislike was the smell. It has a strong electrical smell. Hopefully it will fade.I'm a new Switch Lite owner, so of course I was looking for ways to extend battery life, because those cozy games are addicting! I thought this battery charger case looked like a good solution, unfortunately it just didn't perform like I hoped it would.First off, you have to remove any cases you have already secured your Switch Lite into. I had found a case I really liked that protected it well. So to have to remove it every time I wanted to use the battery charger case was a pain.The charger does hold a really long charge, so I'll give it that. And the charger case does have a kickstand on the back, which was convenient. However, actually holding the charger case while playing on the Switch was actually pretty difficult. It is really thick where it rests in your palms and the case itself is heavy with or without the Switch in it, so while an adult could manage it okay, a child would not be able to. And with it being heavy, it just made it awkward to play for any length of time.I really like the idea of this charger case, it was just more of a hassle than it was worth it.Thank you!
