This is a nice little device, for when you run out of power and are far from a plug. The downside is that it takes a long time to fill the battery with juice, but then you have a lot of juice to use. So if you are in a place where your phone, or ipod, ipad, kindle goes dry, you can use this little device to power you us. I got mine in pink, which might not be for everyone, but which allows me to see it in the bottom of my purse.I own one of these. I bought it from CVS. Had it about a month. After working flawlessly for about three weeks, I too had a few issues; it sometimes didn't fully charge when I left it on the charger over night, requiring me to unplug in and plug it In again, and this week I couldn't get it to charge my iPhone, even though it was fully charged. What I discovered was the USB cable I was using between the battery pack and phone didn't fit well. But a new Apple cable did, and then it charged the phone.I'm not sure why it stops charging from the wall, but I suspect it's my Apple charger getting funky, because it was also doing it with my phone. So check your cables. Cheap/old cables seem to cause issues. What a piece of crap! Charged my phone once, now, after recharging it, it only charges my phone for a few seconds then stops charging, even though it is still full.I've had mine for about 6 months, it holds a charge for a long time, you can check the status of the charge by pushing the button on top once and there is a set of 5 four blue form lights that light up. also has an LED flashlight that works pretty well. And as far as charge and goes I can just about fully charge my samsung tab 3 8 inch on one charge with the battery pack. I can charge my iPhone several times like three or four on the battery pack before the battery pack goes dead.
