Very sturdy. Great white dish.I was having a difficult time finding replacement pieces for my set that I purchased 20 years ago and I emailed 10 Strawberry Street about it. They directed me to a link on the Amazon website where I was able to order them. The style has changed a bit, but they were close enough. We love these dishes because they have a simple clean design, don't take up much space in our limited cabinets and are very sturdy porcelain.I had a set of 8 antique ironstone B & B plates but needed more. I gambled that these would match, and they are perfect. I have to look at the label to tell them apart.I'm very happy with this product. I have been looking for a large creamer or gravy boat for quite a while. The gravy boats that came with the china set is not large enough, is awkward and you still need a ladle, which would always fall out. This holds 2 cups of gravy. If you still use a ladle, it stays in. You need to wipe it or keep it on a small plate, because it will still drip from the spout. It's weighty, without being too heavy. Can be put in a dishwasher, but I would put it on the top rack. It is nicely made and matches with all of my eclectic white pieces, old and new.I liked these so well I bought a second set. I now have twelve of them.I have both "nice" and every day dinnerware from 10 Strawberry Street, but I had been using plates that I inherited in 1968 for breakfast and lunch service. I finally broke down and bought plates that match my every day dinner service. There's not a lot to say about these. They're true white, have an elegant design, and stand up to the dishwasher. What more could you ask?like the productOriginal 5 star review: I love these bowls in every way -- thickness is the right balance between sturdy and nice looking. And they're large, but not clunky.2 stars, 3 months later: after only a few months, the centers are getting those ugly gray spider vein lines. I do not use high heat on my dishwasher and I rarely microwave these dishes and yet I'm getting those spider veins. I'm very disappointed. But I spent a lot of money and have a full set so I am stuck with these for about 10 years.Fit size of our existing bowls perfectly. Love them.
