To those who complain this tripod is flimsy: if you want a $12.99 tripod that weighs less than a pound, don’t handle it like you are a gorilla and it is your jungle gym.The telescopic legs extend and contract as they should, and the clamps hold them are EXTREMELY effective with a good tight grip, yet easy to use.The legs are slender and slightly flexible, but COULD bend or break if you went gorilla on them… so if you are in the habit of dropping, stepping on, or falling over things, get something built the way you use it.The smartphone clamp has a powerful spring, and the rubber pads are shaped just right to retain the phone.I have an iPhone 11 with an Otterbox Defender, the largest, thickest case, and it holds it great!The little bag is better than nothing. It has an over-the-shoulder cord with a stop bead on it. If you’re going on a casual hike and this is the only extra thing you’re carrying, it will do, but it could go in a backpack, or lash it to the outside of your pack, or attach it to the the back if a utility belt with tactical bungees.All the parts were included, and work. If yours comes with parts missing, do the free return to Amazon and have them send you a replacement!
